Beskrivelse
Ølyp is a French instrumental duo blending modern progressive metal with ambient post-metal. The band, founded in the Norwegian fjords, expresses the dissonant interactions between humans and nature, the lack of actions to address the environmental crisis and the rise of individualism. Their music is a call for introspection and solidarity, for the search of a balance that needs to be recovered.
I(m)MORTAL’ shapes massive, deep and emotional landscapes that interrogate Human bonds and relationship with nature. With their debut album, Ølyp dives into the realms of self-acknowledgment into this world, both on a deep introspective level as well as regarding our impact on the planet: how and why did we become such a threat to our own nest?
